If you are a fond listener or watcher of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast then you know they use a wide range of gear. From Jamie pulling up videos with his MacBook to the headphones they wear while recording.
Joe Rogan has revolutionised the way people listen to audio with the introduction of long formatted conversation. No longer are trains, bus and car rides boring. Traffic jams are now made bearable with the rhetoric for Joe Rogan himself and his guests.
So What Headphones Does Joe Rogan Use?
In short Joe Rogan and his fellow guests use the Sennheiser HD280PRO Headphones. Before i get stuck into how much i love these headphones, let me first explain why Podcasters wear them as it seems quite odd.
One of the main reasons it to receive a live feed of your own audio and others around you. This allows for more clear communication and minimises any issues if someone was to get disconnected halfway through a broadcast. Also it limits anyone from breathing down the mic as everyone can hear it crystal clear.
Back to the headphones. The Sennheiser HD280PRO’s are the ground and ponders of the headphone world. Because of their affordable price point and production of clear and warm audio they are a dream to listen to for any audiophile.
Also thanks to their closed back design they are great at keeping audio leakage to a minimum which means more clarity and enhanced audio experience. These headphone are also ridiculously light which make them great for long wearing periods for podcasting, gaming and commuting.
While on the subject of headphones, you can check out this video below where Joey Diaz is trying to figure out how to use his headphones for about 5 minutes. Keep in mind this product #108 so the headphones are much older versions from the ones mentioned here.
Hopefully this video has helped answer your question on what headphones does Joe Rogan use. You can also check out what microphone Joe Rogan uses here.

I see that Joe’s headphones don’t have a coiled cord which according to what I just read on the Sennheiser website they don’t sell a straight replacement cord for this head set so my question is this: Where can I get that straight cord? Thanks
